Nam Viet Joint Stock Company, the predesessor was Nam Viet Company, established in 1963 that was the first company producing fibre cement sheets in Vietnam. the trade name NAVIFICO has been widely known in the building materials market from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau province.
In 1975, NAVIFICO became a State-owned company under Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. In 2001, the company was equitised to become a joint-stock company, in which the State holding 30% of the total shares.
Nam Viet Joint-Stock Company now is one of the leading company in producing fiber cement sheets in Vietnam, at the same time, the company has been known as a fastest development unit in high-quality exported wood furniture.
